What is an E-Check payment?

0

An E-Check is a form of payment that deducts funds directly from your Checking Account at your bank. Each bank that participates in the ACH (Automated Clearinghouse) program has a routing number (also known as an ABA number). This number is used to identify your bank. Then, you supply your account number at your bank. Your bank then uses this number to identify you and the account you are using. Check with your bank to find out what types of accounts you can use for an ACH payment (some banks allow Savings, Money Markets and other accounts to be used for ACH). An example check is shown on the payment form to give you an idea of where to find the ABA number and Account number.
