What is an e-alert and what does it do?
Email alert is a facility to help you find what you’re looking for especially if you don’t visit ManchesterOnline Classifieds on a daily basis. Email alert stores a search criteria set by you and then emails you daily or weekly with some adverts that have been placed since your last e-alert was sent and that meets your criteria. Example: If you are looking for a bicycle and there were currently no matches on the site, you could create an e-alert and as soon as someone places an ad for a bicycle in that area you would be informed via email. You can only take advantage of this feature if you are a registered user by visiting My Classifieds. You can set-up your criteria for your e-alert by following 4 easy steps. Firstly you need to create a saved search, you can do this by clicking on the ‘Save this Search’ button on the adverts listing page.
