What is an avatar?
It is the graphic that appears below your public name on the messageboard. One of the newer features of the board is the option to choose a picture (avatar) that represents you when you post. I have gathered some avatars, and made some of my own (files beginning with j- are avatars that I’ve done myself). You can view all the avatars here. If you would like to choose an avatar, click on my profile at the top right of any page (in the menu listing), and then click view/edit my profile. Or click here for a direct link to change your profile. (You must be logged in) I have gathered some avatars to get started, but if you want an avatar and don’t find something that you like, you are welcome to send me something else. There is a large site of avatars for public use at this site, and a page with links to more avatar sites here. I made a few myself, and you’re perfectly welcome to use those if you like.
