What is an avatar? What are the rules for avatars?
An avatar is a small image that is displayed alongside your username to identify you to other users. When you are logged in, it will also appear in the membership box at the top of each page. You can choose one of our avatars or upload an image of your own. If you would like to upload your own image, the following rules apply: • – Your image must be saved as a GIF, JPG or PNG file • – Maximum size for the file is 100K • – Your image should be square (if it isn’t, it will be squashed into a square) • – Avatar images must not be offensive. If we consider your avatar inappropriate, we may withdraw it and require you to choose another one. You can change your avatar image as often as you like. However, each time you upload a new one, it will overwrite the old one — we only store one avatar image per user.
