What is an auxiliary input adapter?
Auxiliary input adapter is an electronic device that converts the CD Changer port on the back most factory radios into an audio input . The TOY03-AUX Auxiliary Input adapter will convert the CD Changer port on select 2003-07 Toyota Radios to an Auxiliary input. With this adapter installed, you can connect any audio device [iPod, MP3, DVD, Satellite Radio, XBOX, Playstation etc.] that has a line output directly to your Toyota radio without using an FM Modulator, which is the current method of introducing audio into these systems. If you are concerned about the factory Steering wheel controls, or in-dash CD Changer radio— not to worry! you will not lose these options. The TOY03-AUX is compatible with all vehicles listed in our “Order Options” drop-down above with CD Changer controls and Toyota’s New Mini 12-pin connector found on the back of the radio.
