What is an authentic corset?
An authentic corset is made by using stainless steel boning and extra strong high quality fabric for inner lining and comes with tight lacing – all this to ensure you get an hourglass shape and make you look slimmer. Fake corsets, also referred to as ‘fashion corsets’ or ‘mass produced corsets’ have plastic boning instead of steel boning and does not have inner lining. Though they look like original corsets, they won’t give you an hourglass shape or curves.
