What is an Australian state renowned for its crocodile farms?
Queensland… home of the late Steve Irwin. Crocodiles (Salwater crododiles) aka “salties” prefer a hot/ tropical type of climate and therefore are found throught the Northern half or so of the country particularly the Northern Territory and Queensland wetlands/rivers/estuaries and inshore areas. NT is fairly remote and more of a go see the real thing in its environment type of experience rather than a wild life park and I dont hink that they have any “commercial” farms (grow them for meat and skins). Consequently QLD gets the vote for being the state with the most and biggest Crocodile farms/wildlife parks.
