What is an assessment of study needs?
This assessment will involve a meeting with an experienced assessor, who will discuss your disability and talk to you about the way in which your disability may affect your studies. The assessor will then make recommendations on how these difficulties may be overcome. It’s a supportive process and something which will help you to think about how the University can ensure you have equal access to your course. Even though this is called an “assessment”, this process does not involve any kind of test and it is not an assessment of your academic achievements.The aim of the assessment is to come up with a package of support which will assist you to achieve your potential.
