With a hosted or ASP delivery model you have no local server and all of your data is stored at a secure centre offsite. With the local delivery model a server is stored in your office and you are responsible for completing daily back-ups of your data. Both delivery models allow for secure remote access from within the office or outside the office. Yes, York-Med offers Medical Desktop and the York-Med MD Suite (York-Meds EMR) both locally and within a hosted environment.
