What is an articulation agreement and why should my student know about them?
To help students reach their educational goals, the University of Maine System has created more than 70 transfer agreements among its universities, with the Maine Community College System, and with other institutions. What this means is that a system is in place for students to transfer credits between institutions as well as take classes at other higher education institutions as part of their academic experience at USM. They should contact their advisor for more information. http://www.maine.edu/system/asa/articulationtc.
