What is an “article” and how is it different from a forum post?
For the context of reading & responding to items an UseNet “article” is the same thing as a forum “post” that was entered on a forum based web site. It may get confusing since web sites refer to an “article” as a news item and a “post” as a generic term for a item meant for general conversation but when dealing with UseNet groups it is best to go by proper UseNet netiquette and use the “article” name.
