What is an Article Alert Profile?
First you create a search strategy. This strategy can focus on an author name or a specific subject. To create an Article Alert, you name your strategy and save it as an Article Alert. Then each time the database is updated, new articles retrieved by your strategy are automatically send to you. How current is the Article Alert service? Article Alert profiles are updated on a weekly basis. How do I receive my Article Alert results? When you subscribe to the Article Alert service, your default method of delivery is Web and full e-mail delivery. Your Aritcle Alert results will be available for you to view on your personal Article Alert Web page and they will also be delivered to you by e-mail.
