What is an Apprentice Artist?
• Apprentice Artists are aged 14 – 19, hired to work in the ArtWorks Summer or After-School Program. • Apprentices are hired from the Greater Cincinnati area, on average from 70 different schools and 59 zip codes. • Apprentices work in teams alongside professional artists to create large works of art, to perform to public audiences, and to publish literary works. • Every year ArtWorks produces 10 – 15 separate projects spanning a variety of disciplines in the arts.
