• The Anti Siphon is actually a very simple concept. Inside your co2 tank when full is about 75% liquid co2 and 25% gas co2. The gas is on top with liquid on the bottom. Your valve is in the middle of the front of the tank so basically at the 50% line. This means that you will be putting a lot of liquid co2 into your marker for your first half a tank worth of shots or so. A little bit less so if the Air Source Adapter (Also known as ASA which is where you screw your tank into) is angled downwards. An Anti Siphon Tube is basically a tube (usually made of Brass or Copper) installed into the valve on your Co2 tank bending up working like a straw sucking the gas from above and blocking liquid from getting inside your marker. Most paintball shops will install them for you and it costs about $20-$30 depending where you go. • Since the tube must be pointing up the co2 tank will only work on the marker it was made for.
