What is an Anthropology major expected to be good at?
Many of the skills developed by anthropology majors are similar to the skills developed by other liberal arts majors (reading, critical thinking, communication skills). In addition to these basic academic abilities, many anthropology classes require that you have a good memory for detail (for instance, in remembering the characteristics of the skeleton of a hominid ancestor in biological anthropology or the archaeological artifacts attributed to a particular past culture).
