What is an anchor link?
An anchor link links two items within one page to each other. For instance, if you have some text on the bottom of the page that you want the user to be able to get to easily, you can create a link on the top that when clicked will take the user to that section of the page. This is useful when you have very long pages or pages with a lot of content. For instance, a Frequently Asked Question page or Schedule or Event page may be a perfect place to use anchor links.
