What is an alternative sewage system?
A. An alternative on-site sewage system shall mean any proven method of on-site sewage treatment other than the conventional treatment tank wit absorption trenches, bed, or seepage pit. Alternative systems include but are not limited to aeration treatment systems, gravity drained mounds, pressurized mounds and sand filters due to restrictive soil conditions. Q.
