An Agency Location Code (ALC) is a numeric symbol used to identify an agency accounting location or regional financial office on accounting reports and documents. The ALC consists of an 8-digit agency accounting station, a 4-digit disbursing office symbol, or a 3-digit Treasury Financial Center symbol. HOW WILL CURRENT ALCs CHANGE? Currently, 13-06-0001 is the ALC used to identify NIST, NTIA, and TA, while 13-01-0011 is the ALC used to identify the bureaus serviced by the Financial Services Group (e.g., Office of the Secretary, Office of the Inspector General, etc.). The CAMS Implementation Team and the DCFO Division Chiefs met in June 2002 to discuss the future status of the two ALCs. At this meeting, the Division Chiefs determined that 13-01-0011 will be closed and that both NIST and its customer bureaus will use 13-06-0001.
