What is an AG permit – and do I qualify?
Some people may qualify for an “AG” (Agricultural Use) permit. The parameters vary from county to county. You should check with you local Building & Planning Dept. to check on qualifications. AG permits usually do NOT require engineered plans and generally cost less. To qualify, you generally must be doing some form of farming, and using the building for that purpose.
