What is an aerobic threshold?
Anaerobic Threshold is generally considered to be 90-95% of your maximum heart rate.
This is the point where lactic acid is being produced faster than your body can rid itself of it.
When you are sprinting at your top speed, you are generally past the Anaerobic Threshold, whereas if you are on a comfortable jog you are generally at a point where your body can handle the lactic acid that is being produced.
The point at which energy production switches from being aerobic to anaerobic.
