What is an advanced lampworking student – and do I qualify?

0

Here is our definition of an advanced lampworking student: This student has considerable experience on a dual-fuel torch such as a Nortel minor or mega, or a Mini CC or similar torch. The student must be able to comfortably form and shape a variety of bead shapes with ease. In addition, the student should have a thorough understanding of how to keep and hold a form while decorating a bead. The student should also be able to make stringers and apply them in a consistent manner. Experience solely on a hot-head torch is not sufficient experience for this caliber of class. This is not a beginners class. We do not recommend that beginners apply as the pace and curriculum of the class will be geared to the advanced lampworking student. If you have any questions or concerns about your experience and ability level, please e-mail Andrea ahead of time to review your qualifications.
