What is an administrator?
The administrator of a Business Mail plan can create, edit, and delete email addresses (excluding the owner’s primary email address), as well as assign administrative privileges to other email users. On the other hand, the administrator cannot: • Access or delete the owner’s email account. • View the owner’s billing information. • Upgrade or downgrade the Business Mail plan. • Add more email addresses to the Business Mail plan. You can think of an administrator as a second-in-command — someone with many, but not all, of the owner’s responsibilities. If you’re an owner or an administrator, you can grant administrative privileges to any of your users that access mail via Yahoo! (POP-only users don’t have Yahoo! IDs, and therefore cannot sign in to Yahoo! to access your Email Control Panel.) Learn how to make one of your users an administrator.
