Sometimes, your organization is not the only one that needs to be insured through these policies. Venues (for events), locations and rental houses (for films), commissioning entities (for public art), and government offices are some of the many entities that might request that they be named “additional insured,” which means they will also be covered by your insurance in case something happens and they are sued. Some policies specifically include a certain amount of additional insureds, whereas others guarantee unlimited additional insureds. If you need a certificate of insurance for an additional insured, please list the entity requiring it on your application. If you are unsure of the additional insureds at the point of applying, or if there is no place on the application to list your additional insureds, please contact a Fractured Atlas staff member for instructions on how to obtain these certificates once the insurance has been bound.
