What is an addict thinking when they steal pain pills from a friend who truly needs them?
My ex took my medication from me, after out-patient surgery (I had an ovary removed and it really hurt). I was suffering, and yet my ex took away my prescribed relief because my ex was an addict. My ex, I later discovered, was a person who forged prescriptions and paid thousands of dollars to stay out of jail. I will never again trust anyone who is too fond of pills. Addicts do not care who they hurt. Ditch your so-called friend immediately.
I was on crutches for six months because my 2000 pound horse crushed my right foot. Agonizing pain. My aunt stole my entire dose of vicodin from me because she’s a pain pill addict. When I confronted her, she denied it, even though she had the bottle, with MY name on it, in her hand. They only care about their fix — They don’t care about the person.
