As the name implies, an add-a-line plan simply allows you to add more phones to your existing family plan. Each new member of your plan gets their own cell phone and new phone number on your existing plan at a fraction of the cost of a brand new plan. Each month, all of the minutes used by the plan members count toward the monthly minutes in your family plan.
