What is an acid flashback? What happens when you get one?
Most of the posts seem to have it about right. They are usually extremely brief, a few minutes maybe. If the acid is really good it will affect your vision. Contrary to popular belief it doesn’t just makes things appear that are not there, but it will distort and morph what your eyes are seeing. You hear about the classic TV or other appliance melting while watching it.
I’ve heard that when you take LSD some of the chemicals in the drugs are stored in your spinal cord. They say that sometimes jarring the spine or flying at high altitudes can release the chemicals into your blood again, making you have the same kind of symptoms that you may have when you take a hit of acid, such as tracers, shallow breathing, hallucinations paranoia and others.
