Access to Higher Education courses are run in Further Education Colleges all over the country. You are awarded credits, which are equivalent to the required number of A level passes. The course titles vary, depending on the College in which you are studying, but you must ensure that the overall qualification is in a relevant subject – usually Science or Health Sciences, and that it includes Biology taught at Level 3. Contact your local FE College to discuss this. Alternatively, the University runs a Preparation for Higher Education course. Contact the Lifelong Learning Centre.
