What is an acceptable relocation package in todays market?
I am currently working through an offer with a potential direct placement candidate, and a relocation package is becoming a sticking point. What would you deem an acceptable relocation package given the following information?: – Relocation is from the east coast to Southern California – The salary offer will be in the 110k to 115k range (a significant bump in pay due to cost of living) – Two additional details which are in play, the candidate is still currently working but in an unstable environment, and the client did not initially want to pay a relocation package at all.
