What is an Academic Student Advisor (ASA)? What is the difference between ASAs and OSAs?
Academic Student Advisors (ASAs) work with faculty advisors to assist new students with academic advising and registration. Like OSAs, ASAs are motivated and trained student leaders who serve as representatives of the University. During orientation programs, ASAs and OSAs work collaboratively as a team to facilitate check-in, answer questions, provide information, and play an important role in welcoming new students and families to Western.
