What is an AA degree?
An Associate’s of Arts degree. It is a two year degree, usually obtained through a community college and is often used as a stepping stone toward a Bachelor’s Degree. For those with limited time due to family and work commitments or perhaps limited funding, it is a great way to improve earning potential and establish a base for moving forward in higher education. It can also demonstrate the ability to study and learn in order to gain acceptance into a four year program if the individual’s high school career was less than optimal.
