WHAT IS AMWAY/QUIXTAR ED?
A more precise term for “unprofitable business operations” is economic dysfunction–the inability of an IBO to erect a stable retail business volume and sustain a healthy business profit. While the business community commonly accepts the term, ED, many still refer to the condition as “reporting a loss”. This condition was earlier termed “AIDS” – Amway Income Deficiency Syndrome. Now with the ability to combine Quixtar and Amway distributorships in one downline, the simpler and less specific term ED has been adopted. Economic dysfunction or unprofitability is often a symptom of an underlying macro-economic condition, such as duplication of a poor business model or poor total overall sales per distributor. ED is not usually the fault of the individual IBO. In most cases it is typically an inherited affliction from his upline family.
