WHAT IS AMRIT ?
The word “Amrit”, means “elixir of life” in Sanskrit. It’s a two-part herbal supplement consisting of fruit extracts and herbs. All are grown, harvested and combined in a highly prescribed manner and then processed in detailed and sequential steps based on an Ayurvedic formula that’s thousands of years old. The value of each step and the entire process cannot be overestimated. The herbal preparation known as Amrit Kalash’ is actually two separate formulations: MAK-4 and MAK-5. Both have been available in the West for over a decade. The formulas were provided by two revered Ayurvedic doctors, Dr. Triguna and Dr. Balraj Maharishi, under the encouragement of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, the founder of the Transcendental Meditation program, who in the 1980’s launched an effort to restore knowledge of Ayurveda in the east and west.
