The Folger Shakespeare Library in Washington, D.C. was established under the will of Henry Clay Folger, Amherst class of 1879, and is administered by the Trustees of Amherst College.Each year, two fellowships for two weeks of intensive research are awarded to Amherst College seniors and juniors with Humanities and Social Sciences majors whose work can be supported by the Folger’s resources.
