We plan to perform full testing on the latest version of JDK 6 and sanity testing on JDK 5 and Open JDK. We test NetBeans IDE on the following operating systems: Windows XP (full), Windows Vista (sanity), Ubuntu 8.10 (full), Ubuntu 9.04 (sanity), Mac OS X 10.5 Intel (full), Mac OS X 10.6 Intel (sanity), OpenSolaris 2008.11 (full), OpenSolaris 2009.04 (sanity) plus both Solaris 11 Sparc (automated) and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 (automated). The testing is done according to particular module test specifications.
