Alpha Iota is the name of our chapter. Pike chapters are named based on the Greek Alphabet in the order in which they were founded. The first chapter is Alpha chapter, the second Beta, etc. When the end of the alphabet is reached, a second letter is added. There are 24 Greek letters, so our chapter, Alpha Iota, was the 33rd chapter founded (1905).
