What is Alitalia Airlines infant in seat policy?
Due to safety regulations set forth by Civilavia (the Italian authority equivalent to the United States FAA), Alitalia Airlines does not permit passengers under 2 years of age to occupy his/her own seat. The infant is only permitted to travel in the lap of an accompanying parent or an adult 18 years of age or over. Car seats must be transported as checked baggage only.
