Alexa is a site that records the traffic of every site on the web. It’s a powerful site that gives a traffic ranking to every site on the web. For instance, Yahoo.com is currently the #1 site on all of the web. It’s the site that gets more traffic than anyone else. So, if a site is around #236,589, that’s still not too bad. But if a site is around, let’s say #10,593,610, that’s not as good. Like Google PR, Alexa rankings are not the final word on whether a site is good or not, it’s simply an indicator as to how many people are actually using a particular site.
