What is Al-Anon Information Services / AIS?
Al-Anon Information Services (AIS) usually exist in urban centres where there is a greater number of Al-Anon and Alateen meetings. They meet in order to coordinate public outreach initiatives at the city wide level. One of the biggest tasks is servicing the Al-Anon/Alateen phone number listed in the local telephone directory. All calls are answered by Al-Anon members who volunteer their time.
