What is AHMI, and why is it required for the minor?
The American Humanics Management Institute is the national management conference of the American Humanics program. The alliance of colleges and programs throughout the nation meet for three days for networking, workshops, and seminars. Students who attend the conference are exposed to the diverse range of the nonprofit world, and make contacts to further their own professional development. AHMI attendance is required for certification due to the fact that conference attendance is central to understanding the mission and practicality of a nonprofit leadership education.
