What Is Agribusiness Credit and Services Corporation “AgC”?
Agribusiness Credit and Services Corporation is a California Corporation dedicated to loaning money to farmers, and agribusiness firms in the United States. AgC was formed in 2006 and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Tri-State Livestock Credit Corporation. Tri-State is a stand-alone finance company that was formed in 1931 during the depression to provide credit to livestock producers when it was difficult for livestock producers to obtain credit at a reasonable price. Through the formation of AgC, Tri-State expanded its scope of lending to crop producers and all types of related agribusiness entities that either, sell to, buy from, or provide services to, farmers or ranchers.
