What is After School detention?
It is the same as lunch detention except it is held after school for thirty (30) minutes. After school detention is used for students who have been involved in the following offenses: Harassment, profanity or unacceptable behavior, truancy or skipping classes, and entering unauthorized areas without permission. If the problem continues, it will result in more strict actions. SMS is based on a process of progressive discipline, and after school detention is usually step 2.
