The primary service area for Adventist HealthCare’s three hospitals in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, Washington Adventist Hospital, Shady Grove Adventist Hospital and Adventist Behavioral Health, includes the Maryland counties of Montgomery and Prince George’s, and parts of Frederick County, Howard County and Washington, D.C. In addition, Adventist HealthCare also operates a hospital, Hackettstown Regional Medical Center, in northwestern New Jersey and the Adventist Rehabilitation Hospital, which opened in January 2001.
