• Advance payment of BAH is utilized and made available to assist Marines and their families to defray the initial cost of moving into civilian lodging when authorized to reside on the economy. Members are authorized to draw this advance on their BAH, not to exceed the actual cost of moving in expenses or three (3) months of BAH at the PDS rate, whichever is lower. This advance will be liquidated over a twelve (12) month period. If the member vacates the residence for which the advance was drawn prior to the full liquidation, the remaining balance will be recouped immediately. To process a request contact the IPAC.
