Adoption Triad Outreach, founded in February of 1996 by M. StandingOne Farrell, and Marcella “LoneWalk” Farrell, was the first centralized adoption forum on line. The original forum included a free chat, discussion boards an on-line searchable reunion registry, and a links library from just about anywhere in the world. Prior to this access to these types of forums were only available to members of Prodigy, AOL, and CompuServe. ATO is a place where triad members can share in a foundation of knowledge, enjoy a true feeling of ‘community’, find mutual support and understanding, and possibly healing.
