What is actually happening in the UV purifier?
A. In simple terms, the specific frequency of the UV lamp used in our design has anti-germicidal properties. This wavelength of light if produced in sufficient quantity – renders all living cells incapable of dividing and reproducing. For this reason, looking at a germicidal UV lamp for more than a couple of minutes can do damage to the eyes tissues. The sun produces this same frequency of UV light but, fortunately, not at a dose sufficient to harm our skin and eyes.
