The active duty for training (ADT) is an opportunity to gain exposure to life as an Army veterinarian. You are required to arrange a 45 day ADT once a year for each year in the program. All travel and lodging expenses are paid for by the government. You will also be paid as a 2 nd lieutenant on active duty during this time period.
