What is activation and why do I need to activate EGirl after registering?
Activation is the process after purchasing/registering EGirl, that validates your copy of EGirl, and locks it to your specific computer. Activation must be completed from the computer on which you installed EGirl, and requires an internet connection. After activation, you cannot activate EGirl on another computer, until you uninstall or deactivate the first copy. This method of copy protection is used by many major software publishers, including Adobe, Microsoft, and Alias. Basically, your computer sends an encrypted “computer ID” to the EGirl server, and in return, receives an activation key for your specific computer. At no time is any information about your computer used or stored by EGirl Interactive; your computer and personal information is kept completely private.
