What is ACH and NACHA?
ACH- Automatic clearing house ACH. A nationwide electronic funds transfer network which enables participating financial institutions to distribute electronic credit and debit entries to bank accounts and to settle such entries. NACHA: A membership organization that provides marketing and education assistance and establishes the rules, standards and procedures that enable Financial Institutions to exchange ACH payments on a national basis.
