What is accreditation, why and what is its aim?
Accreditation is the recognition granted by an authoritative body, in our case RANZCR/NATA, that an organisation is competent to carry out specific procedures. In the case of RANZCR/NATA, competence will be determined by peer assessment of a site against the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025 and those of the College’s Accreditation Standards for Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology.
