What is accreditation and is the Diagnostic Medical Sonography program at Greenville Tech accredited?
Accreditation is a set of standards that colleges use to ensure they are providing a quality education to their students. Program accreditation provides a set of curriculum standards that helps ensure that programs are providing students with generally accepted educational experiences that reflect the knowledge and skills that are required in that career field. The Diagnostic Medical Sonography program at Greenville Technical College is accredited through the Commission for Accreditation for Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP). Students who meet the minimum program admission requirements are accepted into Phase II of the program based upon earned points.
